The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV has a maximum cargo space of 74.9 cubic feet, with all rear seats folded down. With all rear seats upright in their standard postion, the GLE has a 33.3 cu. ft. cargo capacity in the trunk. From shopping bags and groceries to golf bags and small furniture, the GLE SUV has enough cargo space for most everyday items.
If you need room for more passengers, the available 3rd-row seating option increases the GLE seating capacity to seven (up from five as standard.) The package also adds a 6-way power-adjustment to the second-row seats, plus makes them power-folding for easier 3rd-row entry and exit. With the optional trailer hitch (Class III), most 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE models can tow up to 7,700 lbs (except the base GLE 350 with rear-wheel drive, which has a maximum towing capacity of 5,950 lb.) The towing package option includes the wiring harnesses for the trailer lights and brakes, and Trailer Stability Assist to help keep the trailer sway under control.
